Sales Manager – California & Southwest


Reporting directly to the President of the Americas, this full-time and exclusive role will involve state ownership in the influential southwestern United States with a particular focus on California. The employee will be responsible for the co-development and implementation of a growth strategy in the region through the applicable product lines. The successful candidate will develop new accounts, provide customer service to enable the company to develop and secure contracts within its market. They will also work closely with external partners, where appropriate, who will also sell and distribute to end users.

The successful candidate will lead the business activity in California and the Southwest. To do this, they will be required to prepare and present solid technical and business / service solutions at all levels of the ‘three tier’ brewing industry adopted in the United States and be the primary business owner responsible for the responsibility to increase sales volume and income.

This role will also challenge current “keg rental” or “pay-per-fill” solutions by providing an existing single-use recyclable alternative for the beer industry. The candidate should have a good knowledge of this beer market while being comfortable working in cider, spirits, cold brew coffee and the kombucha space.

This role can also become a leader in other product lines; notably to lead the region in an innovative bulk packaging and market leader in bulk water (3 and 5 gallons).

This role is ideal for an ambitious, sales-oriented individual with a solid business and technical knowledge of the brewing industry.

Applicants must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time is critical due to the breadth of geography.

Key tasks

Co-develop and implement a technical and commercial strategy to deliver the agreed sales volumes and execute this plan. Although not exhaustive, the main tasks will be to:


– Lead the South West for all business activities to generate sales volumes and revenues across multiple product lines

– Develop and convert an active pipeline of house accounts for breweries and other industries for which recyclable cask product is applicable (e.g. Cold Coffee, Kombucha) (except wine market)

– Actively actuate the pipeline, develop proposals / negotiate earnings to achieve sales objectives

– Develop account plans to leverage earned accounts to optimize sales volumes

– Active management of customer and distributor accounts (if applicable)

After sale

– Support with support in brewery, supply chain and end user position

– Troubleshooting drum issues in the market

– Report of the above

Knowledge and experience

– Good knowledge of the beer and beverage market

– Comfortable in selling a technical packaging product to large and small customers

– Sales history in beer / beverage markets

– Effective communicator, both internally, with customers and partners.

– Ambitious, commercially savvy with rapid adoption of the concept


– Base salary according to qualifications and experience
